Celebrating Global Diversity Awareness Month: Spotlight on Natalia (Nat) Lyckowski, IBM’s Global Neurodiversity Advancement Leader

Each October, Global Diversity Awareness Month reminds us of the incredible value that diverse perspectives bring to innovation, collaboration, and progress. At CMD-IT, we are proud to celebrate leaders who embody this mission and create spaces where all individuals feel seen, valued, and empowered.

One such leader is Natalia (Nat) Lyckowski, Global Neurodiversity Advancement Leader with IBM. Nat has dedicated her career to building inclusive environments that recognize and uplift neurodiverse talent across the globe. Her leadership goes beyond advocacy—she has developed actionable strategies and programs that open doors for neurodivergent professionals, fostering a culture where difference is not just accepted but celebrated.

At IBM, Nat leads initiatives that redefine what inclusivity means in the workplace. She champions the importance of recognizing unique strengths, addressing systemic barriers, and equipping organizations with the tools to support neurodiverse employees. Her work exemplifies the belief that true innovation happens when we create spaces for all voices to contribute.

Nat’s impact also extends far beyond IBM. She is a frequent speaker, advisor, and mentor within the global technology and diversity communities. By sharing her insights and experiences, she helps other organizations embrace the opportunities that neurodiversity brings.

CMD-IT recognizes Nat Lyckowski as a changemaker and her example challenges us all to think differently, build inclusively, and ensure that diversity in all its forms remains at the heart of innovation.
